About

This website owes its existence to my dissatisfaction with how concepts in mathematics and especially physics are usually presented, that is: in it’s final, the most refined version. The questions where all this comes from, and in case of physics, how do we know it’s true are seldom addressed.

I’m going to take a different route. We will start with counting on fingers and build models of reality brick by brick relying on direct observations, results of known experiments and reasoning. I’m going to avoid controversies and present only the most useful concepts.

The lecture is ahistorical, and I don’t pay much attention to who did what and when. I plan to add a separate volume where the story will be presented as it really unfolded i.e. with all the key actors, timelines and confusion preceding breakthroughs.
